Florida Flight Inc. was established in 2002. We have an extensive background in Corporate, Commercial and Private Aircraft Interior Refurbishment. We are a small business, but we have come through big on major projects for big customers.

Being a small business allows us to focus on each individual customer; we at Florida Flight oversee that each customer's needs and requests have been taken care of. We also deal with the vendors or seat manufacturers directly to address any issues we may run into, thus allowing customers to concentrate on other important issues. It also allows us to keep our overhead cost very low – this way, we can offer our customers amazingly low prices. We offer fixed or flat-rate prices to our customers, based on a mutually agreed workscope. The customer’s approval will be obtained before performing any additional or non-routine work.

At Florida Flight, we also aim to concentrate on repairing small items in airlines, such as a broken or damaged baggage bin door, damaged door panel, or ripped seat covers. We have the capabilities to repair these items, and rather than paying full manufacturer price and a long lead time, we can repair them at a fraction of the cost of the new item. Traditionally, that is what airlines do; instead of going through the hassle of doing all the paperwork, they will just buy a new panel, but this is where we eliminate their hassle and save them a lot of money as a result.

We also have a program which is being carried out with one of our current customers – it’s called “The Interior Line Maintenance” – in this program we maintain the aircraft interiors on a daily basis at the gate during R.O.N.’s. We inspect all the seats, which are the most common items that need repairs in the aircraft, as well as replace the cabin carpet as needed. This prevents the customer from going through an expensive major overhaul of the seats, and this also keeps the carpet looking clean at all times. These are the two major Rating provider interior items – Seat Comfort & Cleanliness – which could only be achieved by providing quality workmanship and a dedicated crew.

We are fully capable of performing Seat Overhaul & Seat – IRAN (Inspect and Repair as necessary) at our facility as well, if the customer chooses to do so. We at Florida Flight can complete Seat – IRAN for a shipset of B757 seats in as little as two weeks (if parts are readily available). Seats will then be shipped to the customer’s facility in seat boxes strapped to the pallets.

On the Corporate and Private Aircraft refurbishment side, our emphasis is on providing high-quality material and also great workmanship. We assist the customer in selecting the type of material to use – that which is durable and also looks great in the aircraft. Over the years, we have completed several mid-size jets, such as Hawker, Challenger, and Gulfstream to name few, and have several satisfied customers. In the past years, the only advertising that was done was by word-of-mouth by our customers. We firmly believe that a satisfied customer will always refer other customers.

Florida Flight works with several maintenance facilities that perform Aircraft Inspection and Maintenance; while the maintenance is being performed, the interior is removed and brought to our facility, where we complete the refurbishment of all the seats and other interior panels. The interior will then be re-installed, either by our facility or by the maintenance facility, depending on whether or not removal and reinstallation is a part of the maintenance package. Regardless, we provide full support and address any issues that may come up. We stand behind our service and provide warranty for our workmanship.

We are an FAA-approved Repair Station, therefore we follow all current rules, regulations, and guidelines. Our local FAA - FSDO office provides great support in any assistance we need in either obtaining acceptance for additional capabilities or just general information. Furthermore, we have established a close relationship with experienced local D.E.R.’s who can respond to our needs and requirements for certification in a timely manner.
